The United Kingdom will serve as the guest country of honor, with discussions focusing on the transition from coal-fired power generation to clean electricity systems.    China National Coal Group Corporation will meanwhile serve as the guest enterprise of honor, highlighting the role of major energy companies in driving technological innovation and industrial transformation.    Since its launch in 2016, the forum has been held nine times and attracted more than 1,300 international guests. Israel, Iceland, Mexico and Cuba are among the countries that have previously served as guests of honor.    During this year's event, participants will also have the opportunity to visit energy transition projects across Shanxi.
